Solid Gold Dog Food

A Healthy Alternative After The Dog Food Recalls

Solid Gold Dog FoodAfter the dog food recalls, I'm sure everyone that owns a dog and cares about him/her has been looking for healthy alternatives. Solid Gold Dog Food is one of these alternatives that I have found.

The dog food that you find on your supermarket shelf in most cases has over-processed ingredients that really have no nutritional value to your dog. In March of 2007 when I heard about the dog food recalls I immediately started researching healthy alternatives.

One of the alternatives I found was Solid Gold Dog Food. It is made with human grade meats and vegetables. I have been feeding this to my dogs for about a month now. It has been wonderful, they have been full of energy and their coats are gorgeous!

The company prides it self in the fact that they were not involved in the dog food recalls at all. They also don't put ingredients in their food that are known to be indigestible by dogs. One example is corn, it has never has been digestible by dogs. Check out your current dog food. Chances are it contains corn somewhere in it!

Some of the ingredients the company uses:

Bison, salmon meal, cracked pearled barley, millet, brown rice, rice bran, tomato pomace, canola oil, flax seed, dried chicory root, blueberries, cranberries, carrots, and broccoli

Check your bag again, it probably doesn't have anything close to these ingredients in it. I believe that spending $1.60 a day on a food that is known to be healthy and prolong your dogs life is a much better alternative than spending .75 a day on something that is slowly killing her.

The cheaper alternative is killing her because it contains feces, euthanized dogs, rotten meat, and maggots, all ground up together. Solid Gold Dog Food does not contain any of this! I can't believe that these cheaper foods haven't been involved in dog food recalls.
